Family makes it sooooo fun!

A few projects

 We had the trees to the west thinned while we were there.  

 View of the mountains is amazing now.

Then Bruce did a little thinning of his own.  Actually he just cut down one tree that didn't have any branches until way at the top.

 We laid down weed barrier and then spread stones around the house .

 These pictures show our present "lawn."  

We spread some seed, hoping to see some changes next spring.

And finally, we hung a few things to make the walls home-y.

Cabin in summer

So fun to spend the last week with Mindy and Eric and the kids at the cabin...

First "Guests"

So happy that Rod and Sandy could spend a few days at the cabin.

Should I call them guests when they worked so hard??

 Spotless!

Glad they took time for fun...  This is the Swan River behind our property.

Decked out

 The deck is finished.  Still needs steps.

The only big thing yet to be done is the grading.

Then they will seed the dirt with a mix of native grasses...maybe some wildflowers?
