 The deck is finished.  Still needs steps.

The only big thing yet to be done is the grading.

Then they will seed the dirt with a mix of native grasses...maybe some wildflowers?

Could we be having any more fun?

We moved our things in on Wednesday.  And had our first  meal in the cabin on Thursday evening--just cold meat sandwiches, but one of the best meals ever!  Then we officially made the cabin ours by making popcorn that evening.  Most everything is in place, but also dusty.  Somehow the cleaning is even fun.

 Yes, Rod and Sandy surprised us with a quick visit.  It was so fun to

have them here and, of course, they were a great help.

 Furniture arrived on Wednesday.  We weren't quite ready for it, as you can see.

 Bruce began installing the appliances after the cupboards were in.

 Justin chinked the logs over the weekend.

 Dad is having fun getting his tool chest together.

 Clancy and his family and Jason arrived.  They started putting in the cabinets today.

We put the first furniture in the cabin tonight. 

A local man built this log bed and two nightstands for us.
